20 Years of Mica IT || Collaboration, Growth and Future
Last week on Friday, Oct. 10, we celebrated something special: 20 years of Mica IT. We made a short aftermovie to enjoy this party night together.
Aftermovie of this unforgettable evening:

What started as a small team with a big dream has grown into a close-knit group of professionals who make a difference every day for hundreds of companies in the Netherlands.
And we wanted to celebrate that, together with everyone who is part of this story.
Colleagues, clients, family, friends: over 300 people came to Uithoorn to experience this special anniversary with us. The atmosphere was fantastic, the music was right, and the energy ... it was palpable from start to finish.
Collaboration as a foundation
During the evening, founder Göran van der Laarse addressed the guests about what made Mica IT great: collaboration.
Since day one, Mica has not been about individuals, but about the team. People with their own specialties and characters, working together toward one goal: reliable IT Solutions that are just good.
That collaboration has been the backbone of the company for 20 years.
From the first servers built by hand to today's modern Microsoft 365 environments, teamwork was at the heart of each one.
Growth through confidence
In addition to the team, there was of course a focus on our customers and partners.
Because twenty years of IT service is not a given; it is a matter of grant and trust.
Many of our clients have worked with us for many years, and we are proud of that.
Every migration, every project, every issue we have solved together has made Mica IT what it is today: a stable partner for modern organizations looking to grow.
A personal highlight
For Göran, the anniversary was also a personal moment of reflection.
He looked back on his early years, the support of his parents, and the journey he has taken with his family.
As he said himself:
"For us as a family, it was an unforgettable evening, an absolute highlight to look back on."
The celebration showed that Mica IT is more than a company: it is a community of people who have built something special together.
The power of colleagues
A special thanks went out to the team that made this anniversary celebration possible.
The organization, the decoration, the program, everything was right down to the last detail.
Or as Göran put it:
"What an organization by my colleagues ... it really exceeded all my expectations."
This made the party not only a retrospective, but also a showcase of what Mica IT stands for: professionalism, cooperation and fun.
On to the next 20 years
Looking ahead, Mica IT continues to do what it does best: help companies work smarter, safer and more efficiently with modern IT solutions.
New technologies come and go, but our core remains the same: it should be good.
With new premises, a strong team and two new co-owners Frank van den Berg and Jelle Ruesink, Mica IT looks to the future with confidence.
"The best part is: we're just getting started," he said.
Thank you to everyone who was there, to all of our clients for the trust, and to our team for twenty wonderful years.
On to the next 20!
