Now that you are logged in, you can determine which folders you want to sync with OneDrive. By default, your documents, images and desktop are selected. You can customize these to your liking. For example, do you want only your synchronize documents and not your images? Then check the folders you do want to sync. This helps save disk space and ensures that you have only the most important files in the cloud. Next, you can check the location of your OneDrive folder on your PC. Gosse recommends keeping the default location unless you want to use a specific folder. Select the desired location and click on "Next" to proceed to the next step.

Step 4: Back up files and ready to go!

In this step, OneDrive checks that your files such as documents, images and your desktop are already backed up. Have these folders not yet been added? If so, you now get the opportunity to do so. Gosse emphasizes that it is important to check that all folders you want to protect are selected. Then choose whether you want to back up the files immediately or perform this step later.
